この場所以外、Democracies（複数形であることに注意）もDemocracyもでてこないし、この場所は、米国（の国家情報会議が発表した Global Trends 2040 の）なかで望ましいとされている見解はこうだと書いてるだけですけれどもね。
全体を読めばわかるけど、むしろ著者は客観的、かつ米国の Global Trends 2040 が望ましいとした方向に現実は進んでいないという考え、のようですけどもね 笑
