SweetFXでBanishedをとってもスゥイートに・・

先日発売されたBanishedに嵌っている。

とてもシンプルで、やることも少なめだが、民の相次ぐ死亡と連鎖的な人口の激減など、中々唸らされるゲームだ。




今回紹介するのは、最近ならFFXIVなどのゲームでお馴染みのSweetFXだ。

数種類のシェーダーでエフェクトをかけ、色味やコントラストを調整したり、特殊なエフェクトを追加したりなど、遊び心を燻ってくれる。

スカイリム以外では、スナイパーエリートやオブリでしかSweetFXを使ったことがない私だが、Banishedにも難なく導入を完了できた。
早速、導入について説明をしよう。

まずは、SweetFXをダウンロードしよう。
下記サイトにダウンロードリンクがあるので、赤枠で示したリンクからダウンロードできる。

SweetFXのダウンロードが完了後、Banishedをインストールしたディレクトリに移動する。
通常なら、C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\CommonにBanishedというフォルダがあるはずだ。
そこに、先ほどダウンロードしたSweetFXのZipファイルを解凍する。

これで導入は完了だが、次にSweetFXを使用する準備をしなければならない。

BanishedのフォルダにApplication-steam-x32.exeという起動EXEがあるので、そちらからゲームを起動して、オプションの設定をする。

オプションをからVideoタブを開き、以下の設定をする。

Renderer → DirectX 9.0c
Antialiasing → None

これで設定が完了し、次回のゲーム起動以降はSweetFXが適応されて表示される。
(但し、Application-steam-x32.exeから起動した場合のみ)

また、SweetFXでのシェーダーの調整などは、SweetFX_settings.txtをテキストエディタやメモ帳などで開いて編集する。
ゲームでリアルタイムに確認したい場合は、ゲームを起動しながら編集して、ScrollLockキーでSweetFXのON/OFF、Pauseキーで保存したSweetFX_settings.txtの再読み込みを行う。

ストリーミングしたいのに、SweetFXを使用するとBanishedが落ちる or 起動できない
配信ソフトを替えよう。
私の環境ではXSplitで配信しようとすると起動しなかった。試してはいないが、同じくNLEもダメだろう。
OBSやFFSplitを使用することで回避できる。
