ドウェイン・ジョンソンは、『ジュマンジ／ウェルカム・トゥ・ジャングル』続編が"正式に進行中"と明かした。


ドウェイン・ジョンソンは16日（現地時間）にインスタグラムを更新し、前作に携わっていたスタッフたちと一緒に笑っている写真を公開。どうやら最高のストーリー案を聞いて、この笑いが生まれたようだ。投稿の中でジョンソンは、脚本兼監督のジェイク・カスダンの続編へのビジョンを絶賛している。

ジョンソンは、「あらゆる年代の女性、男性、そして子供たち。『ジュマンジ』の続編が正式に進行中だ」と明かし、こう続けた。「脚本兼監督のジェイク・カスダンからとんでもない提案を受けた」

ジョンソンはその提案がどんなにすばらしいものだったかを説明している。その提案には"ハート"があり、"笑いを止められなかった"らしい。前作で脚本を担当したジェフ・ピンクナーとスコット・ローゼンバーグも再集結し、カスダンと共同で脚本を書く予定で、何人かのキャストの名前も挙がっている。
